Come along to the latest of our ‘Meet the CIOs’ lunchtime forums. In this series we hear from information and technology leaders from across the public sector and find out how organisations are using technology and information to meet the needs of citizens and business. How are CIOs leading change? What lessons have they learned? And what does it all mean for information and technology professionals?
This time our CIO is Claire Govier, Chief Information Officer at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. With more than 25 years commercial experience, Claire joined MBIE less than 6 months ago. Before then, she has led large scale technical and operational delivery teams as well as major tech- and digital-enabled business transformations and organisational change. Claire will share her reflections moving from private sector to public, and will talk about the challenges of delivering on the new digital world and how MBIE is preparing for it.
We have limited space for this free event. People who work for GOVIS member agencies or who are honorary members will be given priority for places.
Please note two changes to our usual event process. First, due to current security concerns, only people who have registered will be allowed into the building. Second, we will not be providing a full lunch - only some light refreshments.
